What You Need

Judging is based on an awarding system. Judges adjudicate in an objective and unbiased manner, in compliance with the criteria stipulated in the Technical Manual.
Trained and Mentored
The local association appoints a Chief Judge to give you specialised training, then monitors your progress with advice, support and encouragement.
Five Qualifying Levels
Marching New Zealand trains judges for the section they adjudicate, with qualifying levels at Trainee, Local, Regional, National and International.
Equipment Provided
You will be provided with equipment by the local association, plus invitations to workshops and seminars.
